Why is Timi1oara ,,Little for tourists and the ,,City of parks"
for its inhabitants? it be its historical nexus, its cultural
inheritance or the colorful energy of its festivals?
a Fabric. Three a of the
neighborhoods that maintain a good ranking of our county's capital in the
touristic top of the widest ensembles of historical buildings in Romania.
Arched alleyways marked by the passing of time tell us a story that takes us
through the influences of Viennese baroque, back in the times when the
number of Timi�oara's inhabitants was 10.000. But only few people
k that inhabit a ti by the
Dacians who have set the grounds of the remains which have then been
lost during the Roman occupation. For over 4 centuries, Ostrogoths, Huns,
Gepids, A vars and Bulgarians also left their mark on the city before yielding
to the Hung Kingdom in th 10th century. The path of Timi�oara in

before being recaptured by Austro-Hungarian empire. The Treaty of
Trianon brought Timi�oara and Timi� county back home, on the Romanian
territory, providing it with the courage to fulfill its history in 1989, through the
heroic start of the revolution that caused the fall of communism.
