in Timiş county
The county's notoriety has increased considerably in relation to the
evolution of tourists arriving in the county in the last decade (around

period. This increase recorded in Timiș County can also be attributed to
the growing notoriety of the city of Timișoara, which is designated as
the European Capital of Culture in 2023 and that over the years has

of tourists passionate about the city's architecture.

Tourism in Timiș County has a diversified natural potential and a
