A LANDMARK
is a sign used for guidance when you know that you have arrived home. It
is the essence of the existence of any place and it can only live through
people. We do need landmarks. They are what is left when we return to
our origins and find the meaning of it.
The selected pictures for this brochure identify some landmarks which are
essential for the people living in our county and they are most
representative due to the fact that they have been immortalized not by a
tourist's uninvolved eye, but by the hearts of autochthonous artists.
What is your landmark?
Ours is the old crackling wood porch in our grandparents' courtyard.
They are no longer within us, but we are standing as their landmark.
