Protected natural horizons,
lost in fairytale plains and forests
Out there, where the map indicates the meeting point between Mureş,
Tisa and Danube rivers, in the beginning there used to be a plain. And then
a smell of raw green nature on the abundance-filled horizons. When the
wind first blew, among reed and rush, a swampy fen could be spotted. A
good sign for our ancestors. It meant that the land here is fertile, so they
decided this was a good place to live in.
Wherever you may go, all over the stretching of our nowadays Timiş, you
can sense after each rain the strong humid smell of the oldest LANDMARK
of this territory, namely the fertility of the Banat plain. It lies low between the
leaf walls of the rusty forest citadel guarding the Mountainous Banat.
